1. Title 1 Coordinator
The district no longer has home-school coordinators. Our Title 1 teacher and principal now plan parent involvement activities.
2. Parent-Teacher Organization
Our PTO board is composed of parents and teachers. In the Fall of 2008, we held one of our annual fundrasiers.
We are planning a Spring Fling at the end of April with lots of fun activities--don't miss out on the traditional cake walk!
Our school will possibly host its 2nd fundraiser--INVEST IN THE BEST! This fundraiser will simply be a donation fundraiser of $10, $20, $25, $50 or other amount. We look forward to this fundraiser to see who invests in the best enhanced option school in Nashville!
3. Parent-Volunteer
Parents are encouraged to come volunteer in the school. We love it when are parents are involved!
4. YMCA Fun Company
Our school is proud to have this before and after school day care in our building. Fun Company offers a tutor to help the children who attend the day care with homework or work with those who need extra practice with grade level skills. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. |
