The Buena Vista Elementary School Math Clinic, is a 30 minute skill reinforcement activity, completed once a week, designed to provide a concrete way for understanding abstract mathematical principles and problem solving. The Clinic is foundational upon a motivational approach to achieve higher scores in math, by promoting teacher and student buy in. The implementation and operation thereof, is a result of a direct collaboration between Buena Vista School and Dr. Judith Presley, Associate Professor of Special Education, Tennessee State University.
